Gate terminal is Europe’s LNG hub – a professional access gateway for LNG that is supplied from across the world. The import terminal on Maasvlakte in Rotterdam contributes to the natural gas supply in the Netherlands and Northwest Europe. Gate terminal receives LNG for its customers, stores it, regasifies it and then supplies it to the gas transport network for distribution to households and industry.

Fourth LNG tank at Gate terminal ready: strengthening energy supply for the Netherlands and Northwest Europe
The construction of the fourth LNG storage tank at Gate terminal on the Maasvlakte in Rotterdam has been completed as scheduled. As of 1 October, the new tank is operational after a construction period of three years. With this expansion, Gate increases its storage and regasification capacity, strengthening the terminal's role in the energy supply and security of supply for the Netherlands and Northwest Europe.

Gate terminal is assessing market interest in future small-scale LNG ship loading services through a non-binding Expression of Interest for the planned Jetty 5 development.
